Amimul Ihsan graduated with a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering. He comes with an RF Engineering and CPU design as well as Solid State Device backgrounds. Designed and tested different leading-edge projects with industry leaders such as IBM, Sun Microsystems and Northrop Grumman.

Amimul Ihsan comes along with experience in a variety of RF frequency bands. Microwave Design in GHz frequencies, Gain, non-Linear, Noise, Harmonics. And gained experience in the RF Lab.

Amimul Ihsan has designed circuits and memories with multiple generations of Semiconductor Devices processes (180 nm down to 7 nm) mostly CMOS, and used Si-Ge, SOI process for robust low power design. Furthermore, he has designed high speed circuits with low power requirements. This requires an in-depth knowledge of low power design as well as solid understanding of the device physics.  

He would like to bring some of these rich experience of different sophisticated designs and tools to a new environment where he can hone his skills and experience by combining the in-depth knowledge and real world experience and be beneficial to his future institution.

Outside of work, he enjoys a moderate life. His hobbies and pastimes include playing/watching soccer, cooking healthy food and sometimes readings of good books. He is social and enjoys companion of good people.
